Nice to meet you: Ozzy Osbourne and Justin Bieber greet each other on the set of their Superbowl advertisement

Last month, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne delighted some and horrified millions of tween girls when he ever so eloquently queried: 'Who the f*** is Justin Bieber?' during an interview.

But Ozzy seems to have been brought up to speed, as he is now teaming up with the teen idol for a futuristic advertisement to be aired during the Superbowl.

The odd pairing is for electronics retailer Best Buy, who are understood to have shelled out over US$1 million to sign the 16-year-old.

Despite the slight, Bieber appeared excited to meet the Black Sabbath star - who the teen is perhaps even too young to be familiar with from reality show The Osbournes.

Both dressed in futuristic-style black jumpsuits, the duo shook hands as they were introduced on the set of the commercial at Universal Studios earlier this month.

Observant Bieber fans - of which there are many - will note that the shoot took place before the Baby singer's recent haircut, which he debuted at the Golden Globes Awards on January 16.

Sharon Osbourne, who is said to be making a short appearance as well, was on hand and eagerly greeted the star and posed for photographs.

Time warp: The 30-second advertisement is for electronic retailer Best Buy

What an honour: Despite not knowing who he was just last month, Ozzy (with wife Sharon) appeared thrilled to meet the pop star

Ozzy won applause from many music fans for his ignorance of the babe-faced singer during an appearance on Mark Hoppus' TV show A Different Spin.

The former Blink 182 musician asked what kind of music the 62-year-old listened to, jokingly guessing: 'Do you listen to much Justin Bieber?'

'Who?' Osbourne replied, to laughter from the audience. 'Who the f*** is Justin Bieber?'

Clearly not a fan of the pop phenomenon either, Hoppus remarked: 'I love that, perfect answer.'

Perhaps Best Buy bosses are hoping the pair's sparring will lead to bankable chemistry, given that last year the average Superbowl commercial cost advertisers a staggering US$3 million for a 30-second slot - not including the fees paid to the artists or crew.

Cougar town: Sharon Osbourne, who will make a cameo in the clip, eagerly greeted the 16-year-old

'We're delighted to have Justin and Ozzy helps us tell the Best Buy story,' the company's marketing executive Drew Panayiotou says.

'We know people have high expectations for these ads and Justin and Ozzy add a whole new dimension of fun.'

USA Today suggests that hiring the young and social networking-enthusiast Bieber is a strategic move by Best Buy, who are hoping to transform their image as primarily a TV retailer to sellers of mobile phones and new technology.

Best Buy have kept most details about the advertisement a closely guarded secret, but insiders have revealed it will air during the third quarter of the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers on February 6.

Odd couple: Justin gets to grips with his hi-tech suit, while Ozzy enjoys an iPhone

Other big names set to appear in the highly coveted commercials (advertising air time for this year's Superbowl sold out in October) include Kim Kardashian and Faith Hill.

Reality star Kardashian will appear in an advertisement for Skechers Shape-Up shoes, for which she is a spokesperson, while country singer Faith Hill will star in a spot for flower delivery service TeleFlora.

Meanwhile Bieber fans - or Beliebers - are eagerly awaiting the release of a 3D documentary following Bieber, Never Say Never, days after the Superbowl on February 11.

His UK fans will have to wait an agonising three months for the thrill of seeing their hero in 3D on the big screen in April.

What a difference a day makes! Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson looked tired and scruffy as they arrived back in Manchester this morning

They wowed fans on the red carpet at the National Television Awards last night when they arrived looking stunning in full-length dresses.

But things were slightly different for Coronation Street stars Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson as they arrived back in Manchester today looking tired and scruffy... and perhaps feeling the effects of a bit too much alcohol the night before.

The pair looked downcast and glum as they walked through the train station to head home, failing to muster a smile for photographers.

Glamorous: The girls looked very glam on the red carpet at the National Television Awards at London's O2 Arena last night

While Sacha, 18, at least kept up something of a glamorous appearance in a pair of tight jeans and leather jacket with boots, Brooke, also 18, opted for an an entirely-casual outfit in a oversized cricket jumper with leggings and white plimsolls.

Both the girls appeared to have forgotten their hairbrushes as they got off the train with their hair messily pulled up into top knots.

Last night, the pair had been among the most glamorous at the glitzy ceremony at London's O2 Arena in their draped grecian dresses and lashings of fake tan.

Worse for wear? Brooke and Sacha appeared to have forgotten their hairbrushes, instead piling their hair into messy top knots

The pair also played up for the cameras on the red carpet, referring to the love affair between their characters Sophie and Sian on the ITV soap.

And while Coronation Street missed out on the Best Serial Drama prize to EastEnders, the girls appear to have been celebrating after the ceremony anyway, judging by their appearances this morning.

Brooke and Sacha weren't the only members of the cast to look slightly worse for wear this morning.

Back home again: Vicky Binns (Molly Dobbs) smiles for photographers as she heads through the station with her castmates

We can see you! Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) wore dark sunglasses as he headed home

Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs, kept his face hidden between dark sunglasses while Vicky Binns (Molly Dobbs) also looked scruffy in a purple padded jacket and blue scarf.

It was recently announced that Brooke's nine-year-old cousin Ellie-Louise Leach was joining Coronation Street as a foster child for the Windass family.

Brooke said: 'I am chuffed to bits for her. She has made me so happy. We are all thrilled about it and I can't wait to be with her on set to show her around.'

A Corrie source added: 'Ellie-Louise is made of the same stuff as Brooke, which means she'll fit in and get on well with everyone.'

X Factor goes Stateside: Cher Lloyd and One Direction meet up at The Grove in Los Angeles

They became the most famous teenagers in the country when they appeared on The X Factor last year.

But it seems Cher Lloyd and boyband One Direction aren't content with fame in their home country.

Both Cher, 17, and the boys have descended on Los Angeles, in the hope of making a career for themselves Stateside.

Cher, who has been in America for the past two weeks, met up with One Direction - Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson - at famous LA shopping spot The Grove for a spot of retail therapy yesterday.

Reunion: Cher gets a hug from Harry before they hit the shops

Their reunion comes as it is reported the boys recently received a £2million investment from mentor Simon Cowell's record label Syco, on top of the £8,000 each they already received when they signed with Syco.

And while they will repay the majority of that £2million through record sales, the investment shows Cowell is confident of the group's success.

A source told the Sun: 'One Direction are in the States to meet top producers and songwriters before they start recording material for their debut album. Even The X Factor finalist usually waits nearly a year to release their material but Simon is keen to get One Direction cracking.

'They are getting stuck in and will put out a first single this spring. Then they will hear the cash register chime.'

But while One Direction have a bright future ahead of them, Cher has apparently got off to a rocky start with her career.

The teenager has allegedly been demanding to bring her own 'swagger' to her songs, asking to be allowed to record more 'urban' tracks.

A source said last week: ‘You’d think Cher would just be happy for the chance, but she’s told Simon she wants to do it her own way. She’s thrown a few heavy-duty tantrums and is, frankly, being a bit of a pain.

‘You have to admire such self-confidence in a young girl, but she’s no respecter of authority and she’s had run-ins with a few people.’

However, while Cher might have angered some people with her at times difficult attitude, it is widely believed she is destined to become a success - both in the UK and in the States.

Heartthrobs: One Direction performing on The X Factor last year

Quirky: Cher, seen here performing on The X Factor, is also tipped for a successful future in the music industry

But before launching their own careers, both Cher and One Direction have commitments with the X Factor tour which starts on February 19th.

Katie Waissel, Paije Richardson, Mary Byrne, Wagner, Rebecca Ferguson, Matt Cardle and Aiden Grimshaw will also feature in the tour.
