What a flirt: Brooke Shields can't hide her attraction to guest co-host Mike Catherwood on Live With Regis & Kelly

Brooke Shields put on an outrageously flirty display as she made an appearance on live U.S. television.

The 45-year-old actress threw caution to the wind and poured her figure into a striking red mini-dress, which might have been better suited to a woman half her age.

She then proceeded to put on a touchy-feely display with presenter Mike Catherwood - 14 years her junior - who had stepped in to co-host Live With Regis & Kelly yesterday.

Hands on approach: The actress dived in for a hug

Brooke flashed her long legs and a big smile at the 31-year-old radio personality as he stood in for the show's regular presenter Regis Philbin.

After joking about how amazing Regis looked, as Mike was standing in for the aging host who is retiring, she then repeatedly reached out and touched his arm during their interview.

Finally she told him : 'You're very pretty!'

Mike, who is the host of radio show Loveline on KROQ, appeared to be loving the attention and laughed at the crushing actress.

Showing off: The actress wore a very short bright red mini dress and matching platform heels

But Brooke, who is married to television writer Chris Henchy, had a challenger for Catherwood's affections from host Kelly Ripa, who told him: 'You're perfect. Absolute perfection.'

Kelly, 40, admitted that Mike looked identical to her husband Mark Consuelos, and said of when she saw him backstage: 'I was in heaven back there!'

Mike joined in the praise, two, calling them 'two of the most beautiful women out there.'

Mike has nothing to worry about from the two wannabe cougars however - Kelly has been married for 14 years and Brooke for 10.

Baby it's cold outside! Natalie Portman and her fiancé Benjamin Millepied head out for lunch in New York

Natalie Portman is one of the most recognised faces in Hollywood after winning a Golden Globe earlier this year.

But the Oscar nominee, who is expecting her first child later this year, was barely recognisable yesterday as she headed out for lunch with her fiancé Benjamin Millepied.

The 28-year-old Black Swan star was so wrapped up to protect her from the chilly New York weather that you could hardly see any skin - just the top of her nose peeking out from behind dark sunglasses.

The happy couple, who announced their engagement and baby news over the Christmas period, strolled hand in hand down the snow covered side walk in the West Village neighbourhood where they live.

Natalie kept her bump snug in black leggings, a thick wool trench coat, over sized black scarf and woolly hat.

She also had on thing black gloves and rain boots.

Her fiancé Benjamin, 33, a dancer and choreographer at the New York City Ballet looked much more relaxed about the cold weather in slim fit jeans and a light weight fleece.

Who's that girl: Natalie kept bundled up to protect her from the icy East Coast weather
It has been an astonishing few months for the actress whose film Black Swan started the year at the number one spot at the U.S. box office.

She announced her engagement and that she was expecting her first baby in several months time before winning the Best Actress Award at the Golden Globes.

A few days ago she was nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards which take place at the end of February.

Her new film No Strings Attached, which also stars Ashton Kutcher is currently in the number one Box Office spot with Black Swan still at number five.

Skinny: Kim Kardashian showed off her slimmed down legs in a pair of tight-fitting jeans in Los Angeles yesterday

- Reality star and sister Kourtney's Piers Morgan interview aired in States last night

- Kim says she hits gym hard to ward off thunder thighs

It looks like Kim Kardashian is Keeping Up with her sister Kourtney on the weight loss front.

The 30-year-old reality star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles with noticeably slimmer legs - and face - compared to a few months ago.

Kim, who is famous for her curves, showed of her thinner thighs in a pair of tight-fitting jeans, teamed with a beige top and cropped jacket.

However her denims still exhibited her famous derrière, which showed no signs of disappearing as she strutted down the street in Studio City yesterday afternoon.

Kim's sister Kourtney recently revealed she had lost 45lbs (more than 3st) over the past year since giving birth to son Mason - making her the tinniest of the three sisters.

Last night the pair were seen on the Piers Morgan Tonight show where they plugged their new reality show, Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

They also discussed their body image, with Kim saying she fluctuated between an American size 4-6 (British size 8-10) and petite Kourtney saying she was a 'healthy size 0' (British size 4) - but still curvy.

Kim told Morgan that she believed she and her sisters promoted a healthy body image, saying: 'We're not your typical stick-thin skinny girls you see in the magazines.'

Looking trim: Her thighs are noticeably thinner, seen right in New York back in November looking fuller in the legs and face

Speaking about her fluctuating weight, Kim added: 'When I am heavier I see it goes to my thighs so when that happens I will go to the gym and it makes me feel a little bit more secure and confident.'

The sisters then went and stood next to cardboard cut-outs of themselves and Piers asked them to say what they were not happy with about their bodies.

Kourtney commented that her chest was uneven in her cardboard cut-out, saying: 'This boob is bulging and the other isn't.'

She then admitted that 'these babies are not real,' before Kim insisted that her chest was entirely natural and that she had not had any breast enlargement procedure.

Kim said of her cut-out: 'I must say I am pretty content. I am pretty confident.

'Physically we are quite confident girls. We are glamour girls. We love the hair we love the make-up, but we're also OK without all that too.'

Shapely: But the reality star's famous derrière was still showing no signs of disappearing

She added that the best way to feel 'fantastic and skinny' was to date a tall, hunky athlete as she discussed her new beau, NBA star Kris Humphries who is 6ft9in tall.
'I feel tiny next to him,' she commented.

Kim also revealed how she funded a church set up last year in Calabasas by her mother Kris Jenner.

Body image: Kourtney and Kim stood next to cardboard cut-outs of themselves and discussed what they disliked about their bodies on Piers Morgan Tonight

The revelation came after Morgan asked the reality star if she knew how much she was worth, to which Kim replied: 'Whatever it is, I give 10 per cent away to the church and that's what I was taught. Every year. Absolutely.'

During the chat on his CNN show Piers Morgan Tonight, the host asked if Kim had 'given away millions', to which Kim confirmed: 'Yeah.'

'There's a charity that I work with a lot that I donate money all the time - the Dream Foundation - and my mum has helped create a church, so we help fund that,
it's in Calabasas,' she said.

The 30-year-old was referring to tax-exempt contributions to the LifeChange Community Church, which was founded by Kris and Reverend Brad Johnson.

Charitable: Kim and Kourtney appeared on the CNN show, where Kim revealed she funds a church started by her mother

Johnson, who married Kim's sister Khloe and LA Lakers player Lamar Odom during a televised ceremony in September 2009 watched by three million people, was working at a local Starbucks before embarking on the new venture with Jenner.

The embattled pastor left his prominent position as leader of the Calvary Community Church in Westlake, California - where attendance surged to 5,000 under his tenure - in disgrace after his infidelities were revealed in May 2007.

The once-powerful Johnson found a saviour in Kris Jenner- the former wife of O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert Kardashian - and her cashed-up daughters.

Kim chatted to Piers Morgan about her enormous newfound wealth, but said: 'As long as we give back and help out any organisation that is close to our hearts.

A statement from Dancing On Ice said: 'Katie and the crew are of course extremely worried about Rob and our medical team are keeping a very close eye on him.'
However, Vanilla insisted: 'The show must go on!'

Battered and bruised: The star shows off his war wounds on today's Daybreak

He told the Sun of the accident: 'I [felt] like I got hit by a train. [Skating partner] Katie [Stainsby] scraped me off the ice.

'I had no idea what happened at first - I was out for a few minutes. There was blood everywhere.'

Talking about his fall on Daybreak this morning, the star said he was hoping that his confidence hadn't taken a knocking from the tumble, as his scores have improved week on week so far.

Last week, his dancing to Minnie The Moocher landed him and Katie 16 points and fifth place on the leader board after scoring 15 on his first outing.

Top hat: Vanilla and Katie skating on last week's show in a performance that landed them and impressive 16 points

He said of the show: 'It's the greatest show on earth until you crash.'
Showing off his war wounds, he explained: 'I've got some bruising here and some makeup and a nice few stitches here and a cut.

'But I'm going to be alright, I race dirt bikes, this is something that happens, you crash you get up, you dust your shoulder off and you get back out there.'

His ice dance partner Katie told Christine and Dan, who was standing in for Adrian Chiles, that she was hugely proud of Rob's attitude, but the accident had left her shocked.

You're through: Lauren Alaina wowed the judges with her rendition of Faith Hill's Like We Never Loved At All in last night's American Idol

American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina created something of a buzz in last night's show with her emotional performance - setting her up as a frontrunner to win the show.

The 15-year-old blew the judges away with her stunning performance of Faith Hill's Like We Never Loved At All, with Jennifer Lopez dissolving into tears afterwards.

Already she is being compared to country singer Carrie Underwood on chat forums and blogs. Underwood won six years ago and is the most successful act to have come out of the talent show to date.

Emotional: Jennifer Lopez dissolved into tears after the performance, seen here with Randy Jackson

Lauren, from Georgia, dedicated her performance to her cancer-survivor cousin Holly, who joined her, as she stunned the panel at the Nashville auditions which were screened in the U.S. last night in the second part of this week's shows.

Afterwards, Steven Tyler remarked that he believed they had found 'the one'.

Following her audition piece, Lauren performed Don't Want To Miss a Thing with a little help from Aerosmith's Tyler, having ushered her family in to watch.

Potential: The 15-year-old from Georgia is already being compared to former Idol winner Carrie Underwood

Audition support: Seen here with cousin Holly, who beat cancer and inspired Lauren's performance

Randy Jackson told her: 'Best we've seen today ... I'm blown away.'

'I think you should cry,' Tyler added as Lauren began to get tearful, promoting J.LO to well up.

'You're going to make 40 million people cry tears of joy, baby,' Tyler finished, while somewhat exaggerating Idol's 20million-something viewing figures.

Kicking off proceedings last night was Christine McCaffrey, who entered the audition room singing abysmally.

Family time: Lauren's family joined her in the audition room and she then performed a duet with Steven Tyler on Don't Want To Miss A Thing

'You should do voice overs for cartoons,' Randy Jackson told her.

As she left the audition room she said: 'I got one yes and two nos,' mistakenly thinking Tyler had said yes when in fact he had given her a no.

Nashville ex couple Rob Bolin and Chelsee Oaks sing a Bee Gees song with their tuneful audition seeing them through to Hollywood week.

Talent: Miss Teen USA 2009 Stormi Henley managed to impress the male judges - but not Lopez - however she just managed to scrape through to Hollywood Week

Making an impression: Nashville ex couple Rob Bolin and Chelsee Oaks sing a Bee Gees song with their tuneful audition seeing them through to the next round

Miss Teen USA 2009 Stormi Henley was up next and managed to impress the male judges - but not Lopez.

Lacking the pizazz in the voice department, J.LO tells her: 'The voice is not strong enough,' before giving her a no vote.

Steven and Randy say yes, however, promoting Lopez to say afterwards: 'Seriously you two? That may be the smallest voice we’ve ever heard!'

Given a chance: Country boy Matt Dillard was sent through with a cautious yes from Randy and Steven Tyler, but a no from J.LO who said his audition was not good enough

A confident Latoya 'Younique' Moore was in for a shock when she was sent packing by the judges, despite turning up with one of her CDs in hand.

'They see a glow about me,' she said. But her nasal sound did not go down well with the panel.

'Your sound, your tone is not good. It’s like annoying,' Randy said. She left the audition room singing

Deluded: Recording artist Latoya 'Younique' Moore, seen with host Ryan Seacrest, was expecting to go far... but didn't and was sent packing

'Still no,' Randy added.

Country boy Matt Dillard managed to scape through, performing a Josh Grobin track.

'You need to have a better audition,' Jennifer told him, giving him a no. Randy gives him a 'small yes', adding that he is concerned he might get 'swallowed up in the process', as does Tyler.
