Elegant: Stacey Solomon left the hair salon with her hair in an elegant chignon ahead of a photoshoot this afternoon


She made a name for herself as the 'diva from Dagenham' after her appearances on The X Factor and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

But today Stacey Solomon appeared to be trying a completely new look as she left a London hair salon sporting an Audrey Hepburn-inspired elegant chignon.

After arriving at the Michael John salon with her brown and blonde hair hanging loose, Stacey left several hours later sporting the new 'do ahead of a photoshoot this afternoon.

She wrote on her Twitter page this morning: 'Morning off too another shoot today wahhoo!! Finishing early today so definately (sic) some special time with zachary later xxx'

Shortly after greeting stylist at the salon, Stacey was sat down in the chair where she was doted upon by three or four staff members.

She then had her hair blowdried, backcombed and teased into place before leaving with a style reminiscent of the one sported by Hepburn in 1961 film Breakfast At Tiffany's.

However, Stacey was slightly let down by her choice of outfit for the day, as she stepped out wearing a checked shirt dress and mustard-coloured ribbed tights with UGG boots.

Stacey has already adopted a slightly more toned-down look since returning from Australia, after deciding she no longer wants to use fake tan.

She explained: 'I don't want to fake-tan any more. I can't be bothered - everyone's seen me pale.

'I think I will lay off for a little while. It's such a hassle to fake-tan, and it goes patchy!'

The 21-year-old star has been kept busy since she returned home after being crowned Queen of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity.

And while Stacey has been vocal about her plans for the future, she has yet to sign up for anything.

However, publicist Max Clifford, who has represented stars including Simon Cowell and Kerry Katona, says Stacey has the potential to make herself millions over the next 12 months.

He said: 'She could make between £1million and £5million in 2011.

'She had success on X Factor and she was successful as she has a lovely voice

'Now this is about her personality she has come across really well.

'Everyone likes her, has warmed to her and she has come across as someone with humility, someone who is kind. She is all the things we like.

'Her appeal now is much wider. She has had the X Factor launch and now from this. She has much wider appeal.'

Stacey said recently that she is keen to pursue a career in television after her appearance on ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity went down so well with viewers.

She explained: 'I'd love to be able to say, "That's the programme I present" and just go to work every day.

'I want to try everything - TV presenting, singing, even some musicals and stage acting. I love all of it. I feel like I was born to do it.'

Rumer Willis has made her modelling debut as the new face of luxury brand Badgley and Mischka.

Following in the footsteps of Eva Longoria, Carrie Underwood and Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, the beautiful 22-year-old is clearly comfortable in front of the camera.

And no wonder - as the oldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer is used to being the centre of attention.

Posing in a number of romantic pictures for photographer Tony Duran, the actress channels a very soft and feminine look.

'It was so amazing to play on the beach in beautiful and timeless gowns. I felt like a princess,' she says.

With her famous curves, Kim Kardashian certainly knows how to work a figure-hugging dress.

The reality star is seen here in a dizzying Alexander McQueen design, first worn by Victoria Beckham almost two years ago, in promotional shots for her new reality show.

The clever use of black and white horizontal lines served to accentuate her already-impressive hourglass shape as she poses in the subway.

Fashionista Victoria was pictured wearing a slightly shorter version of the garment back in 2009 while out for dinner in London.

For the former Spice Girl, the optical illusion design gave her stick-thin frame the impression of an hourglass figure.

Kim, 30, and sister Kourtney posed in a series of New York locations in the photoshoot to promote their new show, Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

The programme, a spin-off from the hugely popular Keeping Up With The Kardashians, will be screened on U.S. channel E! on January 23.

Their new show follows the sisters as they set their sights on opening a boutique in New York City and take advantage of all the glitz, glam and flirty fun the city has to offer.

Just nine months into their romance, Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy are expecting their first child together.

The 31-year-old actress, who has a 7-year-old son Ryder with ex husband Chris Robinson, is said to be 14 weeks along.

Her spokesperson confirmed the pregnancy news today.

'It was not planned, but they are excited and embracing it,' a source tells America's Us Weekly.

'She is happy for Ryder to finally have a brother or sister.'

Kate met the Muse rocker, 32, at California's Coachella music festival in April and they have been virtually inseparable ever since - despite living on opposite sides of the Atlantic.

She introduced him to her mother Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell three months into their relationship.

The Cambridge born star, who grew up in Teignmouth, Devon, admitted he was a nervous wreck before meeting the 'in laws'.

He said at the time: 'I'm quite nervous. It's embarrassing when you meet someone's family for the first time.'

He added: 'It's a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me again in a few months though.'

The How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days star was previously married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.

She later dated Owen Wilson, who this week made the surprise announcement his girlfriend Jade Duell is due to give birth 'any day now'.

The blonde has also been linked to baseball player Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriquez, golfer Adam Scott and photographer Darren Ankenman.

Howay the lass: Cheryl Cole is famed for her Geordie accent as a judge on the British version of the X Factor - and could be heading to the U.S. version


She's resolutely proud of her Newcastle roots - and now Cheryl Cole appears to have been given the green light to keep her accent if she lands her hotly-tipped job as a judge on the U.S. version of X Factor.

Peter Rice, who heads up the entertainment department for the huge Fox network that will host the show, said: 'If Cheryl was to be on the show, I think she’s proved that she’s a terrific judge.'

He also said that he reckoned her chemistry with Simon Cowell would ensure she was a hit in the States, saying: 'She has wonderful chemistry with Simon.'

There had been worries that the Girls Aloud star might be passed over for the job because of her strong regional tones, but Mr Rice didn't even mention it as a consideration.

Fox will get the final veto on Cowell's choices, however, despite rumours that Cheryl has already been handed a £3million deal to star on the show when it begins this autumn.

Mr Rice thinks that whoever is on the panel however, that the show will be a huge success in the States - meaning if Cheryl is picked, she could become a Stateside megastar.

Mr Rice said: 'I think it’s an amazing TV show...It’s just so well produced, so fun, so wildly entertaining… I think if they discover the next Susan Boyle next year on ‘X Factor’ - that’s not something that will happen on ‘Idol.’ If they discover, Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson or some 10-year-old phenomenon, that’s not something you’re gonna see on ‘Idol.’

'The other thing which I find most different about it is the way in which the judges own the groups, or own their categories, really differentiates the show,' Rice continued. 'I’m really excited to bring the show here.'

Grimacing: X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd already seems fed up with the media attention as she was pictured checking into first class at Miami Airport


She's been famous for five minutes and didn't even win the X Factor - but Cher Lloyd was flying first class from Miami to Los Angeles earlier today.

The wannabe popstar had been over on the American east coast making a start on her debut album, and was heading west to work with Black Eyed Pea Will.I.Am.

But considering the 17-year-old was a student prior to appearing on the ITV1 talent show, one can only presume that her record label or Will himself footed the £1,500 bill.

Will was battling it out with fellow hiphop behemoth Jay-Z to sign Cher, despite the fact she only came fourth on the show.

However, in the end, the Malvern, Worcestershire, lass decided to plump for Simon Cowell's Syco media conglomerate instead.

Cher is said to be rehearsing with producer RedOne, who has worked with former X Factor contestant Alexandra Burke as well as Lady Gaga.

Since jetting out to Miami over the weekend, the singer has also been busy with a number of meetings as well as hitting the recording studio.

And having made a reputation for herself as a diva backstage on the X Factor, it seems Cher's continued as she means to go on, and was spotted walking ahead as a poor lackey lugged the singer's luggage around after her.
