Girls' night out: Sienna Miller takes newly-single Keira Knightley out for dinner and karaoke in London following Keira's split with Rupert Friend


She's had more than her fair share of failed love affairs - so who better to comfort broken-hearted Keira Knightley over her relationship split than old friend Sienna Miller?

Sienna, now happily engaged to Jude Law, was spotted taking Keira out for a consoling dinner of Italian food at Soho restaurant Bocca Di Lupo on Thursday night, before they headed to a nearby karaoke bar.

Keira's emotions are said to still be raw after she split with her actor boyfriend of five years, Rupert Friend, just before Christmas so a girly night out was just the tonic she needed.

Both stars were dressed down, with Keira, 25, almost covering her porcelain-skinned face with a giant grey tea-cosy hat, while wearing scruffy jeans and black boots, a stripey t-shirt and khaki-coloured overcoat.

Sienna, 29, meanwhile stuck to her usual boho-meets-rock-chick style with shorts over sheer tights, black ankle boots and a tasselled black shawl.

According to The Sun, the screen beauties let their hair down after supper with a good old sing song at Lucky Voice.

Apparently, their song of choice were the Pussycat Dolls' Don't Cha.

A source said: 'It was a pretty raucous affair. The girls weren't holding back at all. There were about 12 people in the group, but no diva-like antics.'

Keira's break-up followed weeks of speculation that gruelling work commitments had driven the actors apart.

Speaking at the family home in Richmond, south west London this week, Mr Knightley, 64, told the Mail: ‘It wasn’t a decision that either of them took lightly. I know they gave it a great deal of thought. I don’t think there was any one thing that led to their break-up – it was a whole raft of things, I think.

‘It’s very unfortunate, but Keira is coping well and is focusing on a new West End play that she is opening. She is getting on with things. I know that she and Rupert will remain great friends.’

Keira met Rupert, 29, who she shared a flat with near Hyde Park, when they appeared together in the 2005 film version of Pride And ­Prejudice.

Engaged and expecting: Georgia Moffett, the daughter of former Doctor Who actor Peter Davison, and David Tennant


Former Dr Who David Tennant and his new fiancée Georgia Moffett walk happily hand-in-hand close to their new home in West London.

And now The Daily Mail has learned the pair have a double celebration ahead.

After it emerged they were engaged, the Mail have now been told that Miss Moffett is expecting their child. Indeed, the actress is believed to be at least five months pregnant.

A source revealed: ‘They are a couple who like to keep themselves to themselves. Friends and family are delighted though.’

The new arrival will be Tennant’s first child – but Miss Moffett’s second.

She has an eight-year-old son – called Tyler - from a previous relationship. She has never publicly named the father of the Tyler is and he is not named on the youngster’s birth certificate.

It emerged earlier this month that the couple had become engaged and there had been speculation they would marry on New Year’s Day next year.

However, it is currently not now known whether Miss Moffett and Tennant – the son of a Church of Scotland minister Rev Alexander McDonald – will marry before the birth of the youngster in late spring.

Miss Moffett, 26, and Tennant, 39, met when he was playing the Time Lord and she had a guest role in the series in 2008. Ironically, she played his daughter Jenny in the episode, called The Doctor's Daughter.

Even so, Miss Moffett has long had a link to the legendary science-fiction series.
While Tennant was the tenth actor to portray the Doctor, Miss Moffett’s father, Peter Davison was the fifth actor to play the Time Lord.

Mr Davison, 59, played the Doctor from 1981 to 1984, in which time his daughter Georgia was born to his first wife, US actress Sandra Dickinson - who also appeared in Doctor Who.

At the time, Davison was the youngest actor to ever play Doctor Who, a record now owned by current incumbent Matt Smith.

Davison - who has also two sons to second wife Elizabeth Morton - was the Doctor that Tennant watched when he was growing up.

And it appears the admiration is mutual.

In a previous interview with the Mail, Davison said: 'It's great because David is a genuinely nice guy - and also a very fine Doctor Who. I'm delighted Georgia has found happiness because she hasn't always had an easy life.'

Miss Moffett is not the first actress Tennant has dated. He previously squired actress Sophia Myles for two years after meeting her on set but they split up in 2007 following her move to Hollywood.

Agents for the pair have declined to comment on Miss Moffett’s pregnancy.

After two divorces and a recent break-up, you couldn't blame Kate Winslet for wanting to hide away.

But the Oscar-winning actress showed she's back on the singles market as she stepped out in London last night in a sexy little black dress.

The mother-of-two, 35, showed off her curves in the simple knee-length ensemble, which she teamed with a pair of peep-toe Christian Louboutin heels.

Winslet wore the chic ensemble as she headed to the BAFTA headquarters in Piccadilly.
Her appearance comes two months after she ended her eight month romance with English model Louis Dowler.

The pair started dating after Winslet revealed she had separated from second husband, director Sam Mendes after seven years of marriage.

She was previously married to Jim Threapleton - father of her daughter Mia, 10, for three years.

Despite her extinguished film career, Winslet admitted recently she finds TV a lot harder medium than movies.

Lily Allen has spoken of her grief and heartbreak for the first time since miscarrying her unborn baby six months into her pregnancy last year.

The star, who also lost a baby in 2009 at three months with her then boyfriend Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers, revealed her on-going trauma on her official Twitter page.


She was talking to Piers Morgan, who was trying to persuade her to be a guest on his ITV1 heart-to-heart chat show Life Stories - but Lily said she would only agree if he donated her fee to charity.

The Fear singer asked the talk show host how much he would pay to have her on his show to which Piers responded by saying: ‘Do you mean how much do you have to pay me for this career-enhancing interview?’

He also added: ‘ps I also know that part of you thinks you can take me down on national TV. Good luck with that one little lady…’

Lily clarified that she could only justify coming on his show by giving money to a charity that ‘helps women to overcome the kind of grief that I have had to experience’.

She also added that she didn’t need his talk show to enhance her career.

At the mention of her miscarriage Piers was quick to agree with her cause and said: ‘No woman should ever have to go through what you went through. Sadly, I know a few who have, and its heart-breaking.

He also told the singer it would be a ‘very honorable reason’ to appear on his show.

The Life Stories host then suggested he could offer her a fee of a million Chilean pesos (£1,289) before name dropping that he was interview George Clooney about his work in the Sudan, and he said the actor was doing the interview to raise awareness, not money.

But the petite singer, who got engaged to boyfriend Sam Cooper on Christmas day, stood her ground and said he would have to offer a £1million to SANDS, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, for her to appear on his show.

Lily posted: ‘Those are my terms. I’ve got no interest in coming on your show, you’ve been asking me for years.’

It seemed that was the final straw for the singer who simply posted the word ‘no’ in refusal and did not respond to any further comments made by Piers despite his offer a negotiating a five figure donation from ITV to her charity.

When Lily failed to respond Piers posted: ‘@lilyroseallen You’ll change your mind. They always do. Right, must dash- Clooney awaits.’

The Twitter conversation coincided with the lead up to Piers' first CNN show, which will air in America on Monday night.

Elton John, who announced he and boyfriend David Furnish had a son by surrogate who arrived on Christmas Day did not reveal his baby joy to the broadcaster during the interview.

Lily who got engaged to boyfriend Sam Cooper on Christmas Day tweeted a picture of her manicure, which revealed her ring which led to speculation that she was already married as she appeared to be wearing a wedding band as well as an engagement ring.

The 30-year-old reality star was dwarfed by 6"9 basketball player Kris Humphries as the pair enjoyed a date at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills today.

Kim looked chic in an all-black outfit and a smart Chanel bag as she arrived at the upmarket hotel.

Kris, 25, who plays basketball for the New Jersey Nets, looked casual in comparison, wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and trainers.

Today she admitted to People.com that she has taken a liking to the sporting star: 'I’m having a lot of fun [with him].

'I met [Kris] towards the end of filming the show.'

While Kris will not appear on the series, Kim says it will show some of the other men she has recently dated.

'I’m showing a lot of my dating life, which I’ve never really done before,' she added.

After stepping out with Manchester City star Wayne Bridge we expected her to turn into a fully-fledged WAG looking preened to perfection at all times.

But Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford showed how she likes to dress down as she stepped out in a pair of huge bright blue jogging bottoms.

The 22-year-old, who celebrates her birthday today, took a break from rehearsals wearing the oversized baggy trousers.

With the bottom hem trailing along the pavement, the singer popped across the road from the studio, where the girls are currently rehearsing for their upcoming tour.

Styling the trousers out Frankie opted for a long black cardigan and later left rehearsals in an on-trend leather biker jacket.

The Saturday girls have had a busy schedule over the past few weeks in preparation from their tour which kicks off in February.

In fact, the girl group were spotted looking exhausted as they stepped out for a lunch break from tour rehearsals earlier in the week.

The girls appeared to have a good night as they giggled and joked as they got into their taxi to head for home.
