magic kingdom disney worldIf they don't happen by then, that's when I will beging looking at yonah MBP's.
I won't buy a Yonah MBP. I would rather have a more future proof computer of a different brand. I use *nix for almost all of my work, I'll just try and buy an open source friendly machine and put windows on a partition just to run WoW and have the other run FreeBSD.
That, of course, is not my first choice, but I won't wait past the shipping dates of other manufacturers (i.e. the 26th is my limit, too).

I think the interesting question is whether they'll do away with "Software Update" as well. And if so, how are they handling stuff like printer driver updates.
Also: Combo updates vs. downloading the whole thing. As the MAS is working right now, it would have to work similarly to XCode, which is just very unefficient.

The iPhone 4 is already dated relative to other phones on the market. To have a phone on the market for 18 months without an update is insane.
i think the only thing it is dated in is the lack of 4G.
Disney World Orlando Fl. TheI guess that all of Apple's current Yonah based systems will migrate over to Merom or Conroe in the next few months - I believe that Intel will be switching production over to these processors rather than Yonah quite quickly.
The MacBook will change last, IMO, say in three or four months time. MacBook Pro and iMac will get upgrades quite quickly though.

I can see them updating the MBP for definate. As the merom chips have just been released, and so apple has enough time to build stock and ship them at paris.
However, I can't see them doing the rumored case re-design, as the 'Pro' line, is meant to match right? and the Mac Pro looks exactly like the old one, apart from the dual drives, so I don't think they'll change the MBPs design just yet.
Damn all this waiting :( I want one now!!!
Disney World - MagicSo the factory is fine but the loading dock is damaged? And they had to shut down the factory because they can't figure out another way to bring in the supplies?
Sounds like we are not getting the whole story...
Iwaki is about 50 km south of the plant, which is well outside the radiation evacuation zones. But it is also only a few kilometers from the coast, and even if the plant is not damaged, that means that the roads and rail connections surely are.

You're right about sales and its still very popular but to keep up with the competition they need to release one every year and maybe even sooner if they can IMO.
Android and win mobile come out with new phones every few months and lots of better hardware and other stuff trying to take away from the iphone.
They're flooding the market with cheaper and more powerfull smartphones, the longer Apple takes the more marketshare they will lose.
No, they come out with new phones every WEEK, and you actually mean "cheaper and ********". This is not coming from a fanboy, I own and use daily an android device.
I would very highly doubt if they actually delayed the release. Techcrunch doesn't have an amazing track record, if I remember right.
A Model Day at Magic KingdomIntel makes some great processors. It would be a bad idea to move to ARM. Sure keep ARM in the mobile world like the iPad and iphones but don't bring them to laptops and desktops. Can't wait to see how Intels ivy bridge is next year.
Photo. Magic Kingdom, WaltIf Apple was found to be abusing its position... yes. But this is NOT my point, my point was 'countries start to investigate Apple due to a shortage of components due to Apple buying up the available stock for a prolonged period of time'. This is very different from Apple being found guilty etc etc.
Abusing what position.
Its simple supply and demand.
NOTHING is stopping RIM from going to the manufacturers and offering MORE money than Apple. NOTHING.
On the other side, the manufacturers cannot make enough panels to keep up with Apple (Apple's customers) demand for the panel (the iPad).
In any business if you want more of something quicker when it is in limited supply the cost is going to go up.
It has nothing to do with abusing market position.

Nope Apple is the ruler of all.
The master of the universe and the company that knows better than you do.
Just notice how they act.
What they censor and how hypocritical they are.
Only Uncle Steve can give you permission and he's never going to do that.
He's GOD according to many fanboys here...
All Hail Apple! (no special symbols needed). :) ha ha ha ha ha
You could just stop buying their stuff...I hear Windows phones need some friends.

In the keynote, didn't Jobs say 2011 was the year of the iPad 2? I thought that pretty much smashed the rumors of an iPad 3 this year.

Magic Kingdom in Walt Disneyif apple is serious about iAd, they will make mobileme free. More hits, more ad revenue.Mobileme is not attractive at all at this point, if they make it free, may be some additional users sign up.
Magic Kingdom, DisneyMerom definitely in the Black Macbook though, if this is true.
I hope so. At least then one could justify the price difference!
Magic Kingdom, Disneyhmmm ............. iWork.com is free.
maybe some combined functionality setup soon?
As far as I recall it is only temporarily free, it is in beta stage if I am correct. There is supposed to be a charge for it eventually.
EDIT: Yep, as you see on the splash page it is still Beta.

Whoaaaaaaa! Easy! This game has no time limits. I'm not in any hurry to expedite our exploration and prefer a slower, more systematic approach with the strength of the full group intact. Also, this game is a group game, not DP v. Villain. I think majority group input within reasonable timeframes ( everyone is able to play at different times of the day) and consensus is important. At least at this time.
+1 for great common sense that some people aer lacking on here so far...
Do you really think the Galaxy tab and iPhone 3g/3gs aer<sic> "identical"?
I prefer to rent movies. I rarely buy DVD's. That said, I'd like to see a rental option added to Apple's Movie Store.
Music is a different story. I prefer to own music.

Why does everyone want Apple to change the enclosure of the MBP when it's already perfect?

These smartphone stats are quite interesting. We have a open plan office and when I look around me I see about 5 iPhone 4's, 3 iPhone 3GS's and 1 android.
Also look at how much money Apple has in the bank now in relation to their smartphone market share...
What's that got to do with anything?
