Microsoft isnt switching over to just ARM. They're just making Windows compatible on ARM. For their Windows 8 Tablets most likely.

Puhleeeeze. We are not concerned about your average criminal or private investigator. We are concerned about the us government, homeland security, cia, nsa, fbi, etc.
Who has easy access to that info even on dumb phones. That is not the issue here.
All Apple needs to do is flush the file once a day(s), encrypt the file on the phone and not back it up (and if there's a reason, to have that encrypted [which can already be done]).
Incorrect. It makes absolutely no sense to store ALL locations/WiFi data/timestamps indefinitely for what you described. The data should be processed and pruned to be used efficiently.
That's what he said: "The only difference is that Apple left out a time based truncation feature."
Fatalities, Animality, Friendship y Babality de Kung Lao en Mortal Kombat 3/Ultimate/Trilogy. www.ZonaMortalKombat.com.ar.I believe the new macbook pro merom's will be .1-.3 inches thicker, and POSSIBLY incorporate a new blu-ray DVD burner, 160GB HD, ATI X1800 Graphics card, and improved display to 1920X1200 for 17". I believe this to be true based on the information gathered from brenthaven's website, showing the 12/15 pro case that is out of stock is 1/4" thicker in the space needed to hold the macbook. The only reason for this is if they know "something" we don't...such as a thicker machine. Also, they are coming out around the 26th-30th. Maybe? what do you guys think?
I can't see Blu-Ray at all.
If it were, I'd figure it'd be an option due to the cost of the drives. Sony offer a laptop in with and without forms and the "with" model costs an extra $1700... but right now I just don't think there's demand.
Based on that, it doesn't seem likely to me.
Then again, I can't see them making the case any thicker than the last-gen PowerBooks, either.
We'll find out soon enough.

BLT told me that they are waiting to receive the shipment to fill the current orders. (ETA 12/2/09)
After that, they will post the kit back on the site.

We should also cut spending across the board. Cut spending on EVERYTHING.
Repeating myself ...
I find this approach highly irrational. If you're overweight, it's important to lose fat. It does no good whatsoever to treat brain the same as fat ... to treat vital organs the same as fat ... to treat limbs and digits the same as fat.

Isn't the Conroe cheaper than the mobility line of chips? Plus they deliver a lot more performance too!
Yes and yes.
Babality: Down, Back, Down,So I guess that Gold Master rumor was wrong.
Unsurprising.
At least 95% of rumors posted here and other Apple-related forums end up being wrong.

Seeing as how the iPad 2 didn't get retina display, I doubt iMacs will.
Imagine the cost of that!!

Who cares? I thought this was macrumors not android news...
It's just the name of the website. The truth of the matter is that in reality it's Apple rumors, or Apple news. Can't be superficial and limit something just because of its name.
And the story here it's about the iphone moving back to second place. So it's an iphone/Apple related article.
Mileena+mortal+kombat+2011Hey guys I just called BLT and they said that they do not have an updated ETA on when they will be receiving a shipment. It almost makes me want to just go to the apple store and pick one up, it is just so hard to give up on 30% off... sigh.
Are you sure your Apple store has them in stock? I checked one here in LA while I happen to be there and they were out of them, too! On the online Apple store, it still says 7-10 days for delivery so maybe we should all hang in there.

No. They're protecting their IP.

Blah blah blah. Lack of AV software makes Macs very unattractive to business settings.
One of the barriers to integrating Macs into corporate and business environments is the lack of anti-virus tools. Yeah, you can dismiss this as FUD (and maybe there's some truth to that) but the fact remains--someday, one way or another, there will be a Mac OS X virus. I defy you to find one IT dept. in the country that wants to be caught off-guard by that. If you're going to have Macs in a business environment, the IT staff needs to know that they're protected in the event of an OS X virus outbreak. Whether any OS X viruses exist now or not and whether AV companies are trying to sell products with FUD is irrelevant in that context.
Those of you who want to see wider adoption of Macs in business environments ought to be happy to see this kind of thing showing up, regardless of whether you personally need it or not.
Yes, a lot of organizations require Macs to run AV software to protect Windows machines from each other. The idea is to make sure that infected documents don't get forwarded through Macs from one Windows box to another.
Since I haven't been that happy with NAV, I decided to try Sophos. After a day or two, something mysteriously trashed all my account desktop settings, so, I uninstalled it. It might be a complete coincidence, or, it might be something related to Sophos-- I didn't have the time to figure it out. YMMV. But, I do suggest some deliberate testing before adopting it on a wider scale.

I am hopeful that we will see a new video iPod alongside a movie store debut.
My hopes exactly. It's definitely going to be the addition of movies to iTMS. New iPods? They're due aren't they? Might as well roll them out, I wouldnt put it past SJ...

I reckon Lion will be the last of cat names used for OS X.
They can't really call the next one Ocelot, for example.

So uh what exactly would Toyota lose if they tell Apple to stick it? At best all I can guess are licenses to use use an iPod trademark or something similar to integrate into the car stereo, if they even have that option. I can't think of anything else.
I'm surprised it's taken this long, to be honest: I've thought for a long time that Samsung's phones in particular are pretty much a blatant rip-off of Apple's industrial design and user interface.
HTC have shown that they can produce an innovative and different interface with their Sense UI, but Samsung seem to just want to rip-off Apples look and feel

The current iMac's can't even run games at 2560x1440 very well, so an even higher resolution? Unless they want to stick a desktop Radeon 6950 (at least) in there, it just wouldn't work. Surely Apple sees how important gaming is with iOS and Steam?
You don't have to run games at those high resolutions.
